FAQs for Ashley
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Who enforces food labelling in Wiltshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Wiltshire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Ashley?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Ashley is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Ashley address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Ashley?
Ashley is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Printed pouches for Ashley brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.
