FAQs for Aultbea
Who checks supplement labels in Highland?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Highland, overseen nationally by Food Standards Scotland. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Aultbea?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Aultbea is usually two working days after dispatch.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Aultbea?
Aultbea is in Scotland, so the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003 apply, together with the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
