Printed supplement pouches in Avoch
Custom printed pouches for Avoch supplement businesses that have outgrown labelled stock pouches.
Rules in Scotland
Labelling law for supplements from Avoch
Supplements sold from Avoch must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, overseen by Food Standards Scotland. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers for Highland.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Printed pouches for Avoch brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.

Avoch questions
How long do printed pouches take to reach Avoch?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Avoch is usually two working days after dispatch.
Are the pouches recyclable?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
Do I need to be based in Avoch to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Avoch orders go out by tracked delivery to IV9.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
You can choose: zips, tear notches, hang holes and windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
