Custom supplement pouches for Birch Vale brands
Custom printed pouches for Birch Vale supplement businesses that have outgrown labelled stock pouches.
Printed pouches for Birch Vale brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and switch later. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.

Labelling law for supplements from Birch Vale
Any food supplement sold from Birch Vale must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Birch Vale questions
Are the pouches recyclable?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
How many pouches do I need to order?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, use labels on stock pouches.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
You can choose: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in matt, gloss or soft-touch.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Do you only work with Birch Vale businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Birch Vale orders go by tracked courier to SK22.
