Questions from Bradfield St George brands
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Bradfield St George?
Bradfield St George is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
How many pouches do I need to order?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, label stock pouches instead.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Bradfield St George address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Who checks supplement labels in Suffolk?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Suffolk, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
