Products you sell from Carbis Bay must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers for Cornwall.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.

Printed pouches for Carbis Bay brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.

Questions from Carbis Bay brands
How long do printed pouches take to reach Carbis Bay?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Carbis Bay is usually the next working day after dispatch.
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, label stock pouches instead.
Do you only work with Carbis Bay businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Carbis Bay orders go by tracked courier to TR26.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Carbis Bay?
Carbis Bay is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
