Common questions in Clavering
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Who checks supplement labels in Essex?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Essex, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
How many pouches do I need to order?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, use labels on stock pouches.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Clavering?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Clavering is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Clavering, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Printed pouches for Clavering brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes. Still testing a product? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.
