Questions from Compass brands
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
You can choose: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Compass?
Compass is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Compass?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Compass is usually the next working day after dispatch.
How many pouches do I need to order?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, use labels on stock pouches.
Printed pouches for Compass brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.

Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from Compass
Supplements sold from Compass must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
