FAQs for Coundon
How many pouches do I need to order?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, use labels on stock pouches.
Who enforces food labelling in County Durham?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for County Durham, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Coundon?
Coundon is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, together with the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Coundon?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Coundon is usually the next working day after dispatch.
