Printed pouches for Craighouse brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Still testing a product? Rules in Scotland
Supplement labelling rules for Craighouse
Any food supplement sold from Craighouse must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of Food Standards Scotland. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

FAQs for Craighouse
Do you only work with Craighouse businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Craighouse orders go out by tracked courier to PA60.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Craighouse?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Craighouse is usually two working days after dispatch.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Craighouse?
Craighouse is in Scotland, so the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Are the pouches recyclable?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
