Any food supplement sold from Dirleton must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by Food Standards Scotland. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.

FAQs for Dirleton
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Are the pouches recyclable?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Dirleton?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Dirleton is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Can pouches have a zip and window?
Yes: zips, tear notches, hang holes and windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Do I need to be based in Dirleton to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Dirleton orders go out by tracked courier to EH39.
