Elmsett questions
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, use labels on stock pouches.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Elmsett?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Elmsett is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Elmsett?
Elmsett is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, together with the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Printed pouches for Elmsett brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and switch later. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.

Supplement labelling rules for Elmsett
Products you sell from Elmsett must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. In Suffolk, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
