Rules in Scotland
Label rules that apply in Fauldhouse
Products you sell from Fauldhouse must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by Food Standards Scotland. In West Lothian, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for West Lothian.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Printed pouches for Fauldhouse brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
