Questions from Flimby brands
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Flimby?
Flimby is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, together with the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Do you only work with Flimby businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Flimby deliveries go out by tracked courier to CA15.
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, label stock pouches instead.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Flimby?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Flimby is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Printed pouches for Flimby brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and switch later. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.

Supplement labelling rules for Flimby
Any food supplement sold from Flimby must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
One label works across England, Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
