Common questions in Goose Eye
Who checks supplement labels in Bradford?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Bradford, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Goose Eye address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
How many pouches do I need to order?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, use labels on stock pouches.
Do you only work with Goose Eye businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Goose Eye orders go out by tracked delivery to BD22.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Goose Eye?
Goose Eye is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, together with the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Printed pouches for Goose Eye brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Still testing a product? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
