Grove questions
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Grove address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Grove?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Grove is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Who enforces food labelling in Dorset?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Dorset, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, use labels on stock pouches.
Printed pouches for Grove brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.
