Who enforces food labelling in Gloucestershire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Gloucestershire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Are the pouches recyclable?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
Can pouches have a zip and window?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in matt, gloss or soft-touch.
Do you only work with Hailes businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Hailes orders go out by tracked courier to GL54.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Hailes?
Hailes is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
