Printed supplement pouches in Liff
Digitally printed stand-up pouches for supplement brands in Liff and across Dundee, in short runs with your label design printed straight onto the pack.
Questions from Liff brands
Are the pouches recyclable?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Do I need to be based in Liff to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Liff deliveries go out by tracked courier to DD2.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Liff?
Liff is in Scotland, so the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003 cover your label, together with the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Who checks supplement labels in Dundee?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Dundee, with national oversight from Food Standards Scotland. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Printed pouches for Liff brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.

Rules in Scotland
Labelling law for supplements from Liff
Supplements sold from Liff must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of Food Standards Scotland. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
