Common questions in Luddesdown
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Who checks supplement labels in Kent?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Kent, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Luddesdown, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, use labels on stock pouches.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Printed pouches for Luddesdown brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.
