Printed pouches for Nelson brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Still testing a product? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.

Questions from Nelson brands
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, use labels on stock pouches.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Do you only work with Nelson businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Nelson orders go out by tracked courier to CF46.
Who enforces food labelling in Merthyr Tydfil?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Merthyr Tydfil, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency in Wales. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.

Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.
