Common questions in Newlyn
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Who checks supplement labels in Cornwall?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Cornwall, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Newlyn?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Newlyn is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Newlyn, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
Printed pouches for Newlyn brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Still testing a product? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.
