FAQs for Ockbrook
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
Yes: zips, tear notches, hang holes and windows, in matt, gloss or soft-touch.
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, label stock pouches instead.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Ockbrook, showing our materials and finishes.
Do you only work with Ockbrook businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Ockbrook orders go by tracked courier to DE72.
Printed pouches for Ockbrook brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and switch later.

Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Ockbrook
Any food supplement sold from Ockbrook must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
