Common questions in Old Cleeve
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Old Cleeve?
Old Cleeve is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Old Cleeve?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Old Cleeve is usually the next working day after dispatch.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Do you only work with Old Cleeve businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Old Cleeve orders go out by tracked delivery to TA24.
Are the pouches recyclable?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
Rules in England

Supplements sold from Old Cleeve must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
