Common questions in Ossett
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, use labels on stock pouches.
Are the pouches recyclable?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
You can choose: zips, tear notches, hang holes and windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Who checks supplement labels in Wakefield?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Wakefield, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
