Pengam questions
Who checks supplement labels in Caerphilly?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Caerphilly, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency in Wales. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Pengam address, showing our materials and finishes.
Do you only work with Pengam businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Pengam orders go by tracked courier to NP12.
Printed pouches for Pengam brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Still testing a product? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.
