Pirbright questions
Do I need to be based in Pirbright to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Pirbright deliveries go by tracked courier to GU24.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Pirbright, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Who enforces food labelling in Surrey?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Surrey, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Pirbright?
Pirbright is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Printed pouches for Pirbright brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.
