Polebrook questions
Who checks supplement labels in Northamptonshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Northamptonshire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
How many pouches do I need to order?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, use labels on stock pouches.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Polebrook?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Polebrook is usually the next working day after dispatch.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Can pouches have a zip and window?
Yes: zips, tear notches, hang holes and windows, in matt, gloss or soft-touch.
Printed pouches for Polebrook brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
