Common questions in Startforth
What’s the lead time for pouches to Startforth?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Startforth is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Startforth?
Startforth is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you only work with Startforth businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Startforth deliveries go out by tracked courier to DL12.
Are the pouches recyclable?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
Printed pouches for Startforth brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and switch later.
