FAQs for Tebay
Do you only work with Tebay businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Tebay deliveries go by tracked delivery to CA10.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Tebay, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Tebay?
Tebay is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Who enforces food labelling in Cumbria?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Cumbria, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Printed pouches for Tebay brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
