Printed pouches for Thornton brands

Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.

Questions from Thornton brands
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Thornton?
Thornton is in Scotland, so the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003 apply, together with the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you only work with Thornton businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Thornton deliveries go out by tracked delivery to KY1.
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, label stock pouches instead.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Thornton address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.

Rules in Scotland
Supplement labelling rules for Thornton
Any food supplement sold from Thornton must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by Food Standards Scotland. In Fife, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Fife.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
