Common questions in Townsend
Do you only work with Townsend businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Townsend deliveries go by tracked delivery to SN10.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
How many pouches do I need to order?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, use labels on stock pouches.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Townsend?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Townsend is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Who checks supplement labels in Wiltshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Wiltshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Printed pouches for Townsend brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.
