Supplement labelling rules for Tregeseal
Products you sell from Tregeseal must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. In Cornwall, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers for Cornwall.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Printed pouches for Tregeseal brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.

FAQs for Tregeseal
Are the pouches recyclable?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
Do you only work with Tregeseal businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Tregeseal deliveries go by tracked courier to TR19.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Tregeseal?
Tregeseal is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Tregeseal, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
