Common questions in Trethowel
Can pouches have a zip and window?
You can choose: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in matt, gloss or soft-touch.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Do you only work with Trethowel businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Trethowel orders go out by tracked courier to PL25.
Who enforces food labelling in Cornwall?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Cornwall, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Trethowel?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Trethowel is usually the next working day after dispatch.

When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels.
