Common questions in Whepstead
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Whepstead?
Whepstead is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Whepstead address, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
Do you only work with Whepstead businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Whepstead orders go by tracked courier to IP29.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
Printed pouches for Whepstead brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Still testing a product? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.
