Questions from Wilsley Pound brands
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Wilsley Pound?
Wilsley Pound is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Who checks supplement labels in Kent?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Kent, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Wilsley Pound, showing our materials and finishes.
Printed pouches for Wilsley Pound brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.
