Printed pouches for Woodford brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Any food supplement sold from Woodford must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. In Cornwall, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

FAQs for Woodford
What’s the lead time for pouches to Woodford?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Woodford is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
Yes: zips, tear notches, hang holes and windows, in matt, gloss or soft-touch.
Who enforces food labelling in Cornwall?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Cornwall, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Woodford?
Woodford is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
