Questions from Wookey brands
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Wookey, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Wookey?
Wookey is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Wookey?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Wookey is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Who checks supplement labels in Somerset?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Somerset, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Printed pouches for Wookey brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and switch later.
