What the check covers for Rufforth brands
We read your label line by line: the supplement statements, the nutrient table and %NRV maths, ingredients and allergens, claims, text size and traceability. You get a written report you can act on or pass to your designer. It’s a practical review, not legal advice. For assured advice, a Primary Authority partnership is the next step. The check covers any label, whoever designed or printed it, not just our own.

Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from Rufforth
Products you sell from Rufforth must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. In York, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
