Rules in Scotland
Label rules that apply in Balemartine
Supplements sold from Balemartine must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, overseen by Food Standards Scotland. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

How design works for Balemartine businesses
Send us your formula, pack size and any brand assets. We design the back panel to the rules first, then the front to sell, and send concepts for you to choose from. Bring your existing logo and colours, or we can create them from scratch. Each design comes with a compliance check and print-ready files with the correct dieline, whether you print with us or elsewhere.
