Label and brand design for Catforth supplement businesses
We design supplement labels for Catforth brands that look good on the shelf and pass a compliance check first time.
How design works for Catforth businesses
Send us your formula, pack size and any brand assets. We design the back panel to the rules first, then the front to sell, and send concepts for you to choose from. Bring your existing logo and colours or start from scratch, from a single label to a full range. Every design includes a compliance check and print-ready files set up with bleed and a dieline, ready for any printer.
Catforth is about 4 miles north-west of Fulwood, in Lancashire. For Catforth addresses, our courier normally delivers the next working day after dispatch, wherever you are in the PR4 postcode area. We print for companies in 395 towns and villages across Lancashire. Our nearest big-city page is Manchester, about 33 miles away — the service and prices are the same.

Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from Catforth
Products you sell from Catforth must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Questions from Catforth brands
Do I need to be based in Catforth to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Catforth deliveries go out by tracked courier to PR4.
Can you redesign an existing label?
We can. Send us what you have and we’ll correct the legal panel and set up print-ready files.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Catforth address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Who enforces food labelling in Lancashire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Lancashire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can you design labels I’ll print somewhere else?
Yes. The final files are yours, set up for print with bleed and a dieline.
