Rules in Wales
Labelling law for supplements from Cymmer
Any food supplement sold from Cymmer must meet the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency in Wales. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Neath Port Talbot.
Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

How design works for Cymmer businesses
We work online, so you don’t need a local agency. We start with a short video call or written brief, then send first concepts. Your label is built around the legal panel, so nothing has to be squeezed in later. Bring your existing logo and colours, or we can create them from scratch. Each design comes with a compliance check and print-ready files with the correct dieline.

Questions from Cymmer brands
Do I need to visit a designer near Cymmer?
Not at all. Most clients never meet us in person: briefs, concepts and changes are handled by video call and email.
Do you only work with Cymmer businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Cymmer orders go by tracked courier to SA13.
Do you do range designs?
Yes. A range design gives you a system: colour coding by benefit, a shared back-panel layout and templates for new SKUs.
Can you fix my current label?
We can. Send your current artwork and we’ll correct the legal panel and set up print-ready files.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Cymmer, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
