Supplement labelling rules for Dobwalls
Products you sell from Dobwalls must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff for Cornwall.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

How design works for Dobwalls businesses
We work online, so you don’t need a local agency. We start with a short video call or written brief, then send first concepts. Your label is built around the legal panel, so nothing has to be squeezed in later. You can bring your own logo and colours or start from scratch. Each design comes with a compliance check and print-ready files set up with bleed and a dieline.

Questions from Dobwalls brands
Can you design a whole range?
Yes. We build a system: colour-coded products, a shared back-panel layout and templates for future products.
Can you redesign an existing label?
We can. Send your current artwork and we’ll tidy the back panel, fix the nutrient table and prepare print-ready files.
Do you only work with Dobwalls businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Dobwalls orders go out by tracked delivery to PL14.
Who checks supplement labels in Cornwall?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Cornwall, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can you design labels I’ll print somewhere else?
Yes. You get the final files, set up for print with bleed and a dieline.
