Common questions in Hamsterley
Do I own the design files?
Yes. The final files are yours, set up for print with bleed and a dieline.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Hamsterley address, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
Who enforces food labelling in County Durham?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for County Durham, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Do I need to be based in Hamsterley to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Hamsterley deliveries go out by tracked delivery to DL13.
How design works for Hamsterley businesses
We work online, so you don’t need a local agency. We start with a short video call or written brief, then send first concepts. Your label is built around the legal panel, so nothing has to be squeezed in later. Each design comes with a compliance check and print-ready files set up with bleed and a dieline, ready for any printer. You can bring your own logo and colours or start from scratch.
