Supplement label design for Meltham brands
From a new logo to a full product range, we design supplement labels for Meltham businesses, working entirely online.
How design works for Meltham businesses
We work online, so you don’t need a local agency. We start with a short video call or written brief, then send first concepts. Your label is built around the legal panel, so nothing has to be squeezed in later. Each design comes with a compliance check and print-ready files with the correct dieline, ready for any printer. Bring your existing logo and colours, or we can create them from scratch, from a single label to a full range.

Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from Meltham
Any food supplement sold from Meltham must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Kirklees.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Questions from Meltham brands
Who enforces food labelling in Kirklees?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Kirklees, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can you design a whole range?
Yes. A range design gives you a system: colour-coded products, a shared back-panel layout and templates for new SKUs.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Meltham, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Do I need to visit a designer near Meltham?
Not at all. We rarely meet clients in person: briefs, concepts and changes all happen by video call and email.
