Rules in Scotland
Labelling law for supplements from Newtown St Boswells
Products you sell from Newtown St Boswells must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, overseen by Food Standards Scotland. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for the Scottish Borders.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

How design works for Newtown St Boswells businesses
Send us your formula, pack size and any brand assets. We design the back panel to the rules first, then the front to sell, and send concepts for you to choose from. Each design comes with a compliance check and print-ready files set up with bleed and a dieline. Bring your existing logo and colours, or we can create them from scratch, from a single label to a full range.
