Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from Preston Green
Any food supplement sold from Preston Green must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. In Warwickshire, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

How design works for Preston Green businesses
We work online, so you don’t need a local agency. We start with a short video call or written brief, then send first concepts. Your label is built around the legal panel, so nothing has to be squeezed in later. Each design comes with a compliance check and print-ready files set up with bleed and a dieline, ready for any printer. Bring your existing logo and colours or start from scratch.

Preston Green questions
Can you fix my current label?
Yes. Send your current artwork and we’ll tidy the back panel, fix the nutrient table and prepare print-ready files.
Do I need to meet a designer in Preston Green?
No. Most clients never meet us in person: briefs, concepts and changes are handled by video call and email.
Do you do range designs?
Yes. A range design gives you a system: colour coding by benefit, a shared back-panel layout and templates for future products.
Who enforces food labelling in Warwickshire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Warwickshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do I need to be based in Preston Green to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Preston Green orders go out by tracked delivery to B95.
