Supplement label design for Spring Cottage brands
We design supplement labels for Spring Cottage brands that look good on the shelf and pass a compliance check first time.
Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Spring Cottage
Any food supplement sold from Spring Cottage must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

How design works for Spring Cottage businesses
We work online, so you don’t need a local agency. We start with a short video call or written brief, then send first concepts. Your label is built around the legal panel, so nothing has to be squeezed in later. You can bring your own logo and colours, or we can create them from scratch. Each design comes with a compliance check and print-ready files set up with bleed and a dieline.
Spring Cottage is about 2 miles south of Swadlincote, in Derbyshire. Brands in Spring Cottage order from us online, and we deliver by tracked courier to DE12 and nearby postcodes. Spring Cottage is one of 435 places in Derbyshire our labels go out to. We print for brands right across the region, from Spring Cottage to Birmingham (24 miles away), all at the same prices.

Questions from Spring Cottage brands
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Spring Cottage?
Spring Cottage is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, together with the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Can you redesign an existing label?
Yes. Send your current artwork and we’ll tidy the back panel, fix the nutrient table and prepare print-ready files.
Do you do range designs?
Yes. A range design gives you a system: colour-coded products, a shared back-panel layout and templates for future products.
Do I need to meet a designer in Spring Cottage?
No. We rarely meet clients in person: briefs, concepts and changes all happen by video call and email.
Do I need to be based in Spring Cottage to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Spring Cottage orders go out by tracked courier to DE12.
