Supplement labelling rules for Acton Gate
Any food supplement sold from Acton Gate must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.

Questions from Acton Gate brands
Do you send samples?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Acton Gate address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Do I need to be based in Acton Gate to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Acton Gate deliveries go by tracked courier to ST17.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Acton Gate?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Acton Gate is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
