Common questions in Allensmore
Who checks supplement labels in Herefordshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Herefordshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Allensmore address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, use labels on stock pouches.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Allensmore?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Allensmore is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Printed pouches for Allensmore brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.
