Questions from Altham brands
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Who checks supplement labels in Lancashire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Lancashire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Altham, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Altham?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Altham is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Do you only work with Altham businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Altham deliveries go by tracked delivery to BB5.
Printed pouches for Altham brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.
